Comments and Complaints
Gloucester City Health Centre has a complaints procedure, which has been setup to deal with any complaints about the service we offer. If you wish to make a complaint, please telephone 01452 891110 and ask to speak to the Practice Manager, who is responsible for administering complaints. A member of the reception team or the Practice Manager can provide you with a copy of our complaints procedure and complaints form.

We are happy to listen to ideas and suggestions that will help to improve our service. Writing to the Practice Manager, putting a comment in the box in the reception or filling our online feedback form are ways of letting us have your comments.

Confidentiality
Confidential patient data will be shared within the Practice Health care team and with other Health care professionals to whom you are referred for care. Confidential patient data will not be shared with any 3rd party without the written consent of the patient.

Anonymised patient information is also used for auditing purposes at Local and National level, if you do not wish anonymised information about you to be used in such a way, please let us know.

Zero Tolerance To Violence
All practice staff have the right to work without the threat of any form of abuse or violence. Any patient who is rude or mildly abusive may be given a Yellow card, further incidents will result in a red card, with the patient being removed from the Practice list. Serious incidents will result in an immediate red card with the patient being removed from the Practice list, the patient may also face police charges.

Patient Access
The practice seeks to provide, wherever possible, the best healthcare for all our patients, and patient access, is a high priority within the practice. If you are unable to keep an appointment please telephone the reception on 01452 307722 to cancel - even if this is at short notice. Every month approximately 50 hours of Doctors and Nurses time is wasted by patients failing to attend.
